    Dear forum,

    At this moment we want to reconstruct a surface from dicom data. When we use the VolumeViz marching tocubes algorithm we indeed get a good surface, however the size is above the 2 mil vertices, which is too much.
    Even the Decimation process will take a lot off time to reduce the mesh to an acceptable amount.

    Does somebody know a solution to this problem, as we need the coordinates of this surface for a Iterative Closest Point algorithm.
